2020 REMODEL - Tennessee

We had our eyes open for a 3rd cabin and knew we wanted to stay in our resort as there are certain things that make sense for us - city water, sewer, underground electric, wired for cable, and close proximity to our other cabins. We found one that met most of our criteria. On the surface, it looked like it needed some TLC and updating, but as we visited the property, reviewed our options with contractors and specialists, we realized it needed a big effort if was going to have our brand on it. What you'll see below are before, during, and after pictures.

Summary of what you can see

• New front door (rear deck and lower level doors replaced in 2023)
• New flooring throughout first floor and lower level
• Full Kitchen Remodel - we retained the fridge (fridge was replaced in 2024) - everything else is new (microwave, dishwasher, stove, lighting, cabinets, island, silverware, glassware, etc), countertops were replaced with quartz in 2021
• Ceiling fans - every single fan was replaced
• Washer/Dryer - new appliances and relocated from lower level to first floor
• Lower level - lighter color paint to brighten the space, tongue-and-groove added to lower portion of walls, barrel/cocktail arcade table
• Lower level bedrooms - new TVs were wall mounted; new beds, mattresses/box springs; new window treatments and bedding
• Outdoor Grill - new Weber natural gas grill

Things you may not see (or notice)

• Deep cleaning - top to bottom
• New toilets 
• Lots of HVAC work - cleaning, added supply lines, new units
• Plumbing repairs
• Roof repairs
• Window repairs
